Good find. Without carrier support hard to find an iPhone on sale.

I just picked mine up for $479.99 plus tax. Here's how:
Add this Visible activation card to your cart along with the iPhone 15 the OP links to trigger a $50 off promo:
https://www.bestbuy.com/product/v...JXJCJKJF8C

This will take $50 off the price of the phone but add $26 for the cost of the Visible activation card. When you pick up your items, ask the rep to return the activation card. My transaction worked without a problem.

On top of that, American Express has $25 back on $250 purchase at Best Buy.

barely a deal. you can get a new iphone 15 or 15 plus from Walmart for $300. Although its locked to ATT, you can either pay 2 months service and it will unlock, or sim swap to try and unlock immediately. If those hassles arent worth saving $200 to someone, then why are you even here. Either that 15/plus deal or the $150 iphone 13 are the best deals rn in my mind. HM to the iphone 14 + year from visible if thats still up and verizon is the best service in you're area.
Where are you seeing iphone 15 for ATT for $300 at Walmart? I see the iphone 13 on ATT prepaid for $299.

After looking more closely I assume you are talking about signing up for service and then cancelling and paying off the phone right away. I assume the locked phone would still work on ATT prepaid and unlock after 60 days on prepaid?

I ordered one for delivery from Walmart. Can you pay off without ever even activating? I haven't even received any information for the account, so no way to even sign in yet. Thanks.

YES, this is a deal as this is NEW and UNLOCKED for an iPhone 15 for $529. New, this is better than the iPhone 16e. Best deal for those who have to buy their phones and want a brand new iPhone cheap.

You can find better deal but it's either used, refurbished (used), or renewal (used), or have to do a bunch of running around (activating, cancelling, etc)

For a NEW iphone for around $500, this is the best deal of the year for iPhone especially consider it is USB-C, no more lighting cables. Like ditching the dongle, you can now ditch all those lighting cables and be with the rest of civilization with USB-C.

I just ordered on for my sis.

Exactly. You see my reasons. My time and effort are worth money to me. Some folks don't value their time and effort.

I have the 15PM 1tb since launch. Bezels are larger than I'd like. I'm at 87% battery. I'll have Apple swap it when the battery drops below 80. Plan on keeping it for at least 6 years then I'll switch to an Android fold if sideloading is still allowed. The specs on the base is dated. Need min 512 120hz. Charging is capped at 20W. No reason to update if you have an iPhone 13 or newer with decent battery. If you're an old person it plays Fox News just fine. Best deals out there are the prepaid 13s. The resale is still high you actually make money off them when you're done with them because they have a physical sim slot you sell it to a drug dealer for high 300 if you're ok with taking blood money. They just swap out sims depending on if they're slinging dope on the street or greasing the wheels with corrupt politicians

No not a deal at all. Only would be if they were offering some crazy insane trade in values. Back in the day you could trade in an iPhone 12 and get a new Pixel 9 for nothing. I don't see that here.
That was back in the day. You can't compare that to the current times especially with what's going on now.

Would buy if it was a Pro. Waiting for refurbished to hit that low. Gotta have something in case my mini dies.

Tech is magic and fun and all but we are paying loads of money so that companies can mine all our data for free. And fry our brains with their use patterns (and probably their radio waves too)

It's possible the phones are already slightly discounted for this (like smart tvs) but I doubt it
