Took some digging but I found the answer. The cases are *not* the same size.

V2
Height: 1.78 inches (45.2 mm)
Width: 2.39 inches (60.6 mm)

Height: 1.86 inches (47.2 mm)

AirPods Pro 3 at Best Buy are $250.

$250 - $15 (Uber eats promo) = $235

$235 - $200 Uber gift card = $35

The $200 Uber gift cards from Costco cost you $160 so that brings us to a grand total of: $195 ($160 + $35) before taxes and tip

I purchased these AirPods Pro (3rd generation) directly from Apple. The sound quality is a noticeable upgrade over the AirPods Pro 2. However, today at the gym I wore them into the sauna for just five minutes and they suddenly shut down. I never experienced this with my AirPods Pro 2—I used to stay in the sauna with them for up to 25 minutes with no issues at all.

Good to know. I fly quite a bit and was so impressed by the first gen Pro's ANC that I now leave my (now bulky) Sony and Bose noise canceling headphones home. Game changer for sure! Looking forward to trying the 3's.

Mine were in bad shape too, scratched & earwax even though they were also described as "mint". They've lost my trust with resale items.
