Just FYI, the battery is -built in- to the handle on this tool; there's no external battery like the other Joe tools that pop up sometimes on SD.

If that 7.2v battery was "replaceable" this deal might get more attention?

I have this. Trimmer is good for corners. But I still feel it's a big redundant, unless you have OCD.

It's for a really big lawn when you REALLY need to teach your teenager a lesson.

Larry went out to trim the lawn with his shears. That was three summers ago. Rumor has it he's almost reached the driveway.

I have these, not great but work ok. The button you have to hold down while trimming is incredibly uncomfortable. I have to tape it back every year and its a huge pain.

That sounds like a chopped off thumb waiting to happen.

I think my use case for this would be some grass behind the backflow pipe and the pipe that flows the water into the house. I don't weedwack them too close because they have insulation. Grass is growing behind the pipes which I think these may be able to trim. Not sure if I'm willing to pay $20 for another too though.

These are good for the vegetable garden when you tired of pulling weeds so you just cut them down without damaging your plants.

Yes, I had one of these, but the battery died within 2 years, so I felt I wasted $50.
