if your store is cool, CC allowed. otherwise cash only. In the ORLANDO FL area, I have been to 6 different dollar general stores and they are cash only or if I get a new person that doesn't give a crap, they attempt to allow pay with CC but fail (unsure if stupid or just don't want to directly say "no")

I bought some yesterday with my credit card. I think it just depends on the cashier. I don't think it is a fixed rule.

Yeah it depends on the cashier I had one cashier earlier in the day let me pay with cash and then another one let me do card

My dg lets me use my Amex card. They just ask for an identification
