This cable supports both high current charging (up to 5A) and supports high speed data transfer up to 20Gbps (Thunderbolt 4, Thunderbolt 3, USB 3.2, USB 3.0). If you don't need both (hint: your phone may not) this cable isn't for you.

FYI. Thunderbolt 3/4 is 40gbps. If this only supports 20, it's not at full speed. So you will most likely fail to drive two displays.

Let's not spread misinformation.

This is a good point, but also, after years of suffering through the USB standards committee treating us like idiots with USB 3.0, 3.1, 3.2, Gen. 1 and Gen. 1, then 10x10, I'm a big fan of this simplified disclosure identifying the actual f#@!ing speed -- and, the potential for class action lawsuits for fraud, when they don't actually deliver concrete speed ratings required by these labels. Accountability is king.

This might not even be thunderbolt compatible.

Only the text (often there are errors on Amazon descriptions) says thunderbolt.

None of the images say thunderbolt or 40mbps
