If this is your first shoe of this model then I also highly recommend getting from new balance or Amazon for easy return.. certainly I tried a couple of models before I kept one and returned one. Now buying 2 more pairs from joes!

I like cushy shoes like 1080. I tried more v6 from new balance also but it was too cushy and I lost movement. I'm doing 6 miles a day in my 1080s with no issue.

New Balance said before:" If we would only make 1 model of the running shoes,it will be 1080".
If you know your size,why would you have to return it??? I use 1080 to run,I use 1080 for a walk,I evem wear 1080 every day for my way to work...

That's how I see it.
Never used anything more comfortable then 1080

They are transparent about their return policy. If you don't like it, don't buy.

Seems they have restocked and more colors / sizes are available again.

I've tried all brands of cushioned joggers (I wouldn't call my pace 'running'), NB fresh foam is my fav. love the xMore, excited to try these.
