Was surprised to see this at my local Costco in Livermore, CA. Did not see it on costco.com. Pretty good price with no hassle; Livermore is often selling things that aren't yet at other stores so this might be coming soon.

I've been daily driving my current 4k display for nearly ten (10) years but these deals are getting me closer and closer to the delights and headaches of daily driving an OLED on my desktop. Heck, my primary display is so old that the only support for 4k is via Displayport... which was a headache back when I first bought it and booting to a Displayport screen wasn't well-supported within Windows!
Has anyone researched the market forces beyond general panel price declines which have been so recently bringing these OLED desktop monitors into a reasonable range? Market data suggests PC users only recently discovered OLED displays, which is hard for an OLED fanboy like myself to understand. https://www.trendforce.com/pressc...12787.html
Really nice price on this monitor backed by Costco's friendly practices. I suspect less scrupulous people will probably buy these and then return them after 4 or 5 years when burn-in becomes apparent.
OLED is cool for gaming and for some movie watching, although the 4K will probably need a very strong GPU to drive it at native resolution. Great for casual use, but I would avoid something like this for work. Despite lots of marketing and newer software tricks, the burn-in problem hasn't been truly solved. As a personal datapoint, I bought a "creator" laptop with an OLED display and burn-in of certain taskbars has become obvious. Never again going with an OLED unless I absolutely have no other options. Really sucks that Lenovo made OLEDs standard pretty much across their Legion lineup
I went with the U3225QE for work but the prices on this are really good.
I can only hope that inorganic MicroLED arrives soon on a practical scale at reasonable prices and replaces OLED for good. Until then, OLED will have to serve as a stopgap for those wanting the best contrast.

Wait, monitors aren't under the typical shortened policy like televisions and other electronics?
Good luck!
Jon
I've seen people trying to return 5 year old tvs before lol. Technically not within the policy. I'm not a fan of this type of return manipulation at all, to be clear

Been using a LG C2 as a monitor for 3 years and burn in hasn't been an issue. OLED is not across the board experiencing burn-in, results vary from panel to panel.
Recently got this monitor. This is around the price that would make me try oled. Not bad. Personally, 120hz is enough for me. Coming from a miniLED monitor and LG G5 tv, this monitor looks kinda dim lol, but after setting expectations on brightness I like it!
Running a Mac mini on 2 4k 120hz monitors and I'm just impressed the mighty Mac mini is able to do that.
Update from my end: Definitely some 'coil whine' when using the Power Delivery (single cable) with my Macbooks; no noise when using HDMI-->AMD video card, or usb-C to a thunderbolt dock. Achieving 120hz 4k on all of them. Slight annoyance but I'll live with it given the price. great PQ, speakers are good enough for what it is.

I did confirm this monitor has been discontinued when speaking with Dell Sales Chat today. Not longer appears on Dell's website. Not sure why.
