On top of that, I've played Elden Ring, Cyberpunk, and many more new-ish titles and this card does fine. It's so overhated, it's hilarious. I mean, make sure you have a beefy CPU if you're gonna be at 4K and not something from 5 generations ago, but yeah, this card CAN do 4K.
The one time I've ran into a POSSIBLE issue was with Cyberpunk and turning on path tracing. Yeah, 12GB isn't gonna cut it for that, but was this card made for that?

For 1440p, some games are already starting to hit 12GB VRAM usage at higher settings.
For 4k, only 12GB VRAM will surely hold you back.
If you can afford it, go up to the 5070TI. If not, drop to the 5060TI.
Just my opinion for anyone wanting to do more than 1080p...

3080 has 384 bit width with GDDR 6 gives memory bandwidth of 760 GBps
5070 has 192 bit width with GDDR 7 gives memory bandwidth of 672 GBps
frankly speaking, even if you focus only on the memory bandwidth (which while is important, but not all of the graphic card), those two are close enough for a 70 card vs 80 card, and then you have 5070TI that has 256 bit bus that gives you memory bandwidth of 896 GBps.
and completely off topic...
a desktop 5070's GPU performance (meaning before vram becomes a bottle neck) is actually the same as 5090 mobile chip. while the 5090 mobile does have almost double of everything, but it runs at half the clock speed compare to 5070 desktop.

I knew I wanted the extra performance and VRAM since I want to take full advantage of my 49" ultra wide @ 1440p resolution.
I have to keep textures low on BF6 while at 1080p due the being limited on the 8GB VRAM.
