I hate to break this to you, smartyman88, but most companies have had data breaches. You just don't hear about them, or they aren't even aware they happened. The best thing you can do is scrape the dark web for your info so you can at least be informed.Lol.

Cool, it's just a warning about the company.

Why I "lol"? I enjoy my life.

Right, but this company did not deal with the data breach in a good way.

And yes, many companies get hacked, but would you want to work with a company that got knowingly hacked over another company?

PSA, a good website to check if you got hacked or not is https://haveibeenpwned.com

Thanks bud. We have to assume data has been breached. Most companies don't disclose unless there is a law requiring them to. So, just don't reuse password as a basic thing. Share as little as possible

Yea, true. I recommend Bitwarden for a password manager. It's free, open-source, and great Big Grin

Confused at the type of people in this thread disliking what I am saying, but anyways, yes, it's free.

There's paid options, but 90%+ people don't need those options.

Hey sorry about that! if you go to bitwarden.com and click 'pricing' it defaults to business plans. My mistake.

I see it less as an argument and more as an informative discussion. Would rather know than not know 📖
