I thought $50 was a good deal but $25 is insane. Went into costco in Oregon yesterday and they just got a new pallet of them so no chance they changed the price today.

This is definitely YMMV. I checked on Costco app and it's not available at these sample locations:
  • Manhattan 10035 = Not sold
  • Chicago South Loop 60608 = Not sold

Price ends in 00 means that discount must be limited to that store or that region.
So the manager of the store might be clearing them out.

Was going to say the same. I just got the HF Gordon for $29.99 with a 25% Off targeted coupon they sent out. Already had one which has seen more use than the Leatherman. For the price that Gordon one is a steal too. Bought this 2nd one because it has windshield breaker for emergencies. Will leave the 2nd one in the car for emergencies and in case I forget the main one at home.
