Prices are slowly dropping because of the release of the Stadium XL and soon the Stadium. There are some light rumors that Line6 will likely release an updated Stomp based on the updates (Agoura amp models, etc) and with increased DSP but that probably won't come until late next year or after if I had to guess.

That said the Stomps are still very solid units - I would personally buy used however. $479.99 is still a bit high for one of these new. If they get it down to $450 or less it would be a bit more appealing

100% agree. Its not cheap enough to be a "flyer" IE; ill buy it; and if i dont like it; ill sell it. You will still take a pretty big hit at this price point when going to sell it; however if you need this; and have no intent of resale, not a bad price.

You get what you pay for. Things like this that are half the price also sound like they're half the price. Cheaper things can sound just fine, but they're not going to compare. I'd much rather pay more and do it right the first time.

Eh. I sold my Helix and kept my Tonex. Less than half the price of that. 🥴

The cheapest used HX stomp on reverb right now is $425 + shipping. I'd much rather buy a brand new one with warranty for $480.

The price seems right if you need a modeler. Honestly the new stuff isn't that much better. Sure the interface is better and you can do more, but as far as emulation quality goes modelers have hit a wall. It's not much better than stuff from 10 years ago.

Now $528, but still pretty good deal. I have the HX Stomp XL and the amp models and effects are excellent. I don't feel any need to upgrade at all. I have a ToneX One and the amps and effects sound incredible but I prefer the HX Stomp for the amount of effects and presets you can create, ease of use, the HX software editor, and it's built like a tank. Boss pedals have nothing on the HX Stomp.
