The high mileage has been shown to have less of the techron and needs to be used more frequently. Deceptive practice.

Cleanliness of the intake valves primarily depends on the driving habit, engine design, and fresh fuel. An engine with direct injection only will have intake valve deposit. Both of my engines have over 200K miles and their intake valves look as good as those on the 343K miles tear down engine. I don't use Top Tier fuel or any gasoline additive. 95% Sam's 87 octane gas. Long term fuel trim on the OBD II engine is around 1 to 3%.

how to use this kind of fuel cleaner properly?

fill half in when gas is reaching half full, then fill another half in when tank gets almost empty?

Usually because high mileage engine are assumed to have more build up, too strong of the cleaning chemicals can potentially clog the system. I experienced the issue with my used car that I bought from an owner who neglected it severely. I don't agree with the practice, people should be aware there's less concentration of the active chemicals

This cleaner does no more than the additives that is put in the gas at the pumps.

Do these have a shelf life? Bought a few 3 or 4 years ago on one of these deals and never used it. Lying around somewhere. Wondering if they are still useful or must be discarded

Haven't ridden my bike with fuel injection for a few years. Wanna get it going again. A 2015 Royal Enfield Continental GT.

Probably some gas been sitting at the bottom of the tank since 2021.

Will this help?

Instruction on the bottle said to pour entire content of empty bottle into nearly empty tank and then re-fuel/fill-up tank. Ref zoom in image to read direction: https://m.media-amazon.com/images...L1500_.jpg
