T-life chat just said I can't have 3 paid lines and 3 free lines (6 total. Is t-mobile getting smart on the ratio or am I not eliglble?

With five lines, you are already receiving two free lines, so adding just one more line does not make you eligible for another free line. If your account reaches seven lines (with four paid lines), then you can have three free lines. Please let me know if you would like to add two lines to get one line free."

UPDATE : An hour after I added the line, I can now see this in my Promotions section in my account, so that's a relief. Ok hopefully there's no other change. If you have a spare esim (even on an existing phone) add the line via that method and the account should show the update right away. If you order the physical sim card, you may have to wait until you activate it after receiving it in the mail to set the promo live in your account.
