I believe Autopay discount maxes out at 8 lines ($40)
That is correct. I have 10 lines but only get a $40 auto pay discount.

Thank you for your patience. I have double-checked, and currently, you are not yet eligible for the free line with the promotion ID 250791. Rest assured that T-Mobile has just released the first batch of customers who have received this offer. It is possible that you will be eligible in the next batch of free lines that T-Mobile will release.

This is the response from t-life chat rep for my request

Chat support made up some lie and said I already have a promo from earlier this year and that I am not eligible. When I pressed further to know which promo, the chat was 'disconnected'

Bummer no go for me

I Was wondering if my account qualifies for the segmented Free Line. "Lotalty BYOD Dec 2025" Promo ID250791 / SP158"

response :
Thank you for your interest in our Loyalty BYOD offer! I have reviewed your account, and it seems that you do not currently meet all the eligibility
requirements for this specific promotion. However, we are in the process of developing our Holiday offer, which we can explore together. If you're not in a hurry, I recommend staying tuned for what will be available. "

This promotion is designed for a targeted group of our existing accounts with a segment code, along with other requirements such as being on an eligible rate planEach account has been given this offer, which will be updated regularly for our loyal customers. That you are porting an existing number from another carrier into your free T-Mobile line

I'm on Tmobile one and was told I'm maxed out at 3 lines. I'm paying $90/mo and would need to switch to a different plan to get an extra line.

Thank you. I'm on a simple choice plan and didn't see anything on TLife. But called in to check and the rep confirmed I'm eligible. But she couldn't add over phone and asked me to do it via TLife chat. Did that, and the chat rep also confirmed I'm eligible, and added the line.

How come no one is going the Costco route? I remember if you open a line and qualify for the free line at the Costco kiosk (at certain Costco's they have t-mobile), you also get a Costco shop card out of it. Usually about $100. You may be able to also get SIM card activation waived and if you go to t-mobile store to pick up a SIM card (Costco t-mobile kiosk charges 7.50 for physical sim) and bring it to Costco then you don't charged at Costco.

SC Plan since late 2000. Received an email last night thanking loyalty and offered a free-line and saw the banner on T-Life as well.
Chatted in via T-Life and rep added line without hesitation, but the rep didn't mention which campaign it was under. Rep insisted on providing an IMEI immediately to lock-in to this "very limited time offer" toactivate an eSIM. Charged $10 line activation. After all the ordeal, received an SMS saying ID250791 was added to my account. Complete process took less than 10mins. Had to chat back in a few times to correct the data plan issue because my plan was so old.

Nothing. They are happy to have a port in.

I starter with the simple choice 4 lines promo ages ago. Kept that ever since and just added the free lines.
Wife and 2 kids
Mom
Dad
Brother
Sister in law
Aunt

No free phone. Just the free line pays for itself.
Is there tax on the free lines?

Meanwhile those of us on the One Plus plan get no free lines ever lol. We even get different trade in values for the same phones as people on other plans now. I worked at Apple for 11 years so I was getting free phones so it wasn't a big deal. Only thing saving me now is I have an iPhone 15 Pro that is still on 17.0. A new jailbreak was just released for it so it's worth quite a bit of money now.
Not true at all. I got one with the latest price increase and have 11 lines and pay for 5. 6 free ones.
