I'm packing up my Target bought AirPods right now. It's a shame Target ditched their PM policy to other stores. Such a waste. But saving $20 is saving $20.

OP probably doesn't care for the more lively bass heavier (not heavy) tuning compared to the 2s. I love the sound of the 3s, but sound is largely personal which is why so many headphones and buds come with equalizers.

I've owned every variation of the Pros and the 3s are by far the best yet. The sound is not THAT different from the 2s but the noise cancellation and in-ear fit is appreciably better plus you get the heart rate sensor and foreign language translation features.

I had to return these. They sound much worse than the 2s and the fit was terrible for me. Really sad. I stocked up on a second pair of 2s on the woot deal just for future proofing. Hopefully they fix the increased size next gen. These are too fat.

bring it to Apple, they can test them to see if it's a defect and replace it. They did that to the 1st Gen. Never hurts to try.

Glad the APP3 worked out for you but i suggest everyone on the forums to test both the APP2 and APP3, the price difference is so small that you would think buying the newest product would be the correct move, until you try it out you wont know. Even with this sale, Id pay $50 less for the superior headphones, the APP2 or wait a bit for an even bigger sale.

I've used Comply foam tips, results are night and day compared to the Apple tips. Might want try them.

Ha yeah I could. Genuinely scared now lol my ear still hurts over a day later. Reddit post said someone got 4 replacement airpod pairs and still had some issues. This is my first iphone and airpods and I'll say the noise camcellation is really good on these

Have they updated to the latest 8B30 firmware yet? That got rid of the issue entirely for me. I was also able to minimize it before the update by switching out the default medium tips for the large.

Hi yes they're on 8b30. I opened them two days ago so just in case it was released very recently i tested it just now and it happened again.
