Thanks for the info. My battery is TM2509 and the charger is OY2508. Good to know that both are from early 2025. I didn't get a chance to open the one I picked up today yet but hopefully it's from the same manufacturing batch as I bought it for the battery.

It was on clearance at $149, then $97, and now $74.5. Price goes down with inventory. Lucky if you can find one nearby as it has been on clearance for more than a month now.

My local store had 34 in stock, and there are still 27 left after six days. I guess it's not moving much here in the Northeast. I'll pick up another one if the price drops to $50 for an extra battery.

Online store inventory was correct(3), picked one up late Sunday after the usual employee can't find it rant. In this case it was where it should be & where the inventory said, just behind a sign attached to the locked cage in the trimmers/blowers aisle. Took me 10 min to convince the guy to unlock the cage & look in there!

Just picked this up at Home Depot in farmingdale New York on 1/19 for $75. Don't really need the weed trimmer but I wanted the base unit so I can buy the sweeper attachment.

This deal is still available in some stores in San Jose, CA area. I saw the post and did a lookup thinking this is long gone but there it was. Big thanks to the OP.
As others have said you can see availability on Home Depot. It will say see clearance price. I got it at $74.99
