Also this modem uses the Puma chip which is hot garbage. You will get packet loss and intermittent slows speeds. This is an old device.
When buying refurbished cable modems they are somes on a previous customer's account. If it is then the call center rep cannot add it to your account. You will be forced to return it.

I'm a network engineer. Plenty of ISPs are still using docsis 3.0 modems. You get better upload speeds with 3.1 but this will still work if you are on a low speed tier. I even have some clients that use a docsis 2.0 modem to this day and do not want to upgrade because their service is working fine, which is ok with me because i dont have to call the isp to schedule an upgrade.
