I purchased this a couple of months ago and love it! Feels sleek and smooth. The 120hz is nice and Oled is great! The 256v is great for battery life too.

I bought the 32GB version of this refurb, and it died after two days. Bummed that it didn't work out.

I purchased one of these open-box from Best Buy and the only thing I wasn't fond of was the keyboard. Apart from that, the laptop is thin, relatively light for a 16" and the screen was gorgeous. For sub $600 with Lunar Lake and a 2 year warranty, I see nothing to hold you back (except maybe the desire for 32GB, which you may or may not need).

EDIT: Did not see at first you had to use KLARNA for payment. That sucks.

So it died after two days and you tossed it in the trash with an 'oh well, was worth a shot' ? You didn't return for a replacement? What died? The battery? The board? The screen? Something does not compute here (no pun intended.)

I bought 2 of these new, nine months ago(1 for my wife), they're great PCs. Great bright display, fast performance, nice keyboard, good build. No complaints.

Great deal. Was even better on cyber monday(550$ Walmart deal fulfiled directly from acer). Laptop is sleek, higher quality(aluminium shell) speakers are downfiring(missing base) but lowd and clear. Keyboard is fine. Oled is beautifull. Battery life is awesome. I had to clean alot of windows spyware, reinstalling it too, stopped some of the background spyware and garbage preloaded there(stop self update via registry-watch videos for that) and activating office via scripts (massgrave.dev) for free. Overall very happy with it. Even at around 750$ish this laptop is worth every $. @ around 1100 not really. The only other in its class is the asus(same 3k oled and 16") that was ~800$ from Staples but they canceled my 2 orders with no explanation why and even 3 calls to cust service and managers lead to dead end(they dont know why). So thumbs down for Staples! But great acer and asus 16's!

The other comparable 3k OLED thin/budget laptop is the Asus vivobook & I took a check on a refurb for that, but had a lot of issues (background kept switching between the default 'V' and black, ghost mouse movements & clicks, trouble connecting to public Wi-Fi) & had to return it. I really want to jump on this, but honestly I'm afraid of refurbs & what if I can't test out every possible scenario within the return window, then I find something a few months later etc. The screen, thunderbolt charging, & battery life, speakers etc were all fantastic - only downside was I prefer HP/Dell's keyboard layout with dedicated home/end keys. I really wanted to love the Asus and I think I'd love this too (despite no dedicated home/end keys), but not interested in taking a chance.. anyone have experience with this exact model's refurb & can attest to quality?

Died. As in wouldn't power up. Nothing fishy, returned it, no replacement option. Sorry to confuse you so much 🤣

I have an older version. My battery sucks. Speakers are basically non existent. But the screen is gorgeous. For $600 and tax I would definitely recommend. 2 year Allstate warranty is great too. I've bought quite a few items from Acer's eBay site

What makes you think they didn't return it for a refund as a defective product? You're being really obtuse and aggressive which is not as clever a combination as you might think.

odd that they simply didn't replace it. I've ordered 1/2 dozen rebuilds from the Dell laptop lease deals here and any breaks or DOAs were simply (and quickly) replaced.
That's too bad they didn't do that here - the specs are pretty good for $340
