The bad: I have had this one for 2 years. I've replaced 2 already and it's been a pain in the butt everytime. The snap that holds the "dry compartment" is a little push button plastic piece that is EXTREMELY hard to push. So when it broke due to normal use imagine my surprise. This cooler has no spare parts. To get anything replaced you need a whole new cooler so they told me to ship it to them with my money. Long story short after arguing with the USA distributer they sent me a new cooler but be warned, if you break anything like the handle, you have no parts.
The ugly: you can't stand a water bottle up so there is wasted space inside when they are laid down. If you're using soda cans great but for me it made the cooler feel even smaller . The trade off was that they gave you a dumb little compartment that you can put pills or pen in. I wouldn't use it much or for things that require frequent opening since it broke 2 times on me. The lid for that "dry storage" is paper thin on top and paper thin on bottom. Now what happens when you have 2 thin areas on a cooler? That's right, it leaks cold energy. To offset that problem they gave you a small ice pack that sits on the inside of the main lid but with a cooler designed to be roto molded, it defeats the purpose of the cooler itself. You're better off getting the old school igloo lunchbox coolers for half the price.
Since my experience with the "dry compartment" I lined it with dynomat to help somewhat with insulation. I also filled it with expending foam to help maintain temperature better and it helped immensely. My recommendation is to just stay away.
