A couple of reviews added that this is not a pull chain model. Per the manufacturer, model 276WH is NOT a pull-chain model.

I use Home Depot's "Spin Lights" in closets - motion sensing and adjustable timeout (2, 5, or 15 minutes) - negates the need for a pull chain. Also better than a bare glass bulb IMO as they're vulnerable to breakage by stuff being shoved on to high shelves.
