I wouldn't consider this an"gaming laptop". It's more a heavily beefed up Microsoft Surface. A Windows tablet that can do moderate gaming and AI work. You're paying a premium for the format and for the AMD chip set which is great but specialized.

Echo this x2. Out of a S A B C tier, it can be a B if you give it kudos for innovation, but it's truly a C tier for purely gaming. The gpu is equivalent to a 4060 and handles most games well with good battery life and quiet performance. It's only worthwhile if you are using this for work and AI to maximize what you're paying premium for.I ended up returning mines because it's clunky to use outside of a desk. I wouldn't maximize the premium use of it much.

Tempted by this, but there are better CPU/GPU combinations on the market.

This is FIRE. Bought one for 1900 about a month ago. Ram shortage started and it went to 2300. Computing this is a top CPU and it can game. Def not "a gaming" laptop per se but this is an all-around performer.
Very tweakable, you can adjust the amount of memory to video, so with a click of a button you have 16g or more if you like, pretty good battery life with some voltage adjustments. Cloud based restore and the HD is easily accessible if you upgrade. Plug the blank one in and it will take care of it all for you
If you use your laptop for more than just gaming OR you travel a lot and want to game on the road this is a great solution.

And yes, its sitting on 2 other laptops. Don't judge me 😁

F*** I spent way more than this recently on eBay with no returns. This is a much better deal.

Agreed, it can game but that's not where it shines.. It's an ultraportable, touch screen that has a chip that goes toe to toe with an M4/M4 Pro. If you do a lot of creative stuff, this chip is about as good as it gets on the Windows side.

This is super niche but if it ticks off the boxes for anyone, it really has no peers.

Asus reliability vs Apple reliability , in terms of laptops, I went with a apple max laptop. You can emulate a most windows games with crossover now. The screen, audio, keyboard, trackpad, battery life, and windows 11 being buggy still, made me choose the mac for work and gaming. I am playing oblivion remastered on the mac.

Storage on this maxes out at 2tb due to it only able to fit one 2230 drive.

It's the biggest limitation of this device.
