Gen Z means people aged 13-28 now. These are just a newer Vans model. Vans are for all ages and I have plenty SK8 hi models. This model was based off the chunky 90's skate sneakers. The older Gen would know more about these type of sneakers than Gen Z who are just picking them up now.
If one person likes a sneaker, why do you care what others are wearing or "trending" with? People should just get what they like and want. Don't be concerned about what others are wearing or "trends". I got the Adidas Samba XLG which is a mix of indoor soccer shoes and 90's skater shoe. I don't care if it is trending or if it is made for Gen Z. If I dig it, I buy it.

It keeps telling me that it's not eligible for free shipping, even with an FLX account and the coupon code. Tried going incognito and doing a guest checkout, and that didn't work either.
Good deal overall, but the $9 shipping bites.

Vans have never gone away. Within the last month I've seen elementary school kids wearing Vans T-shirts and trucker hats, GenZ service industry employees wearing 80s retro checkerboard slip-ons, and GenX graybeard skaters still rocking Originals.

The size 12 was tight on my 11.5 foot.
