I LOVE GOLDDDDDD

Lot of confusion lately about American Gold eagles.

This contains a FULL ounce of Gold. It is 91% pure because it is 22kt. That does not reduce its gold content, the coin is heavier (1.1oz) to account for the silver and copper content.

This is 100%, absolutely indisputably a full ounce of Gold. No less.

Gold buffalos, in contrast for example, are 24kt. They are 99.99% pure gold, and weigh almost exactly one ounce total, as they contain no other metals.

Please do not litter this thread with nonsense about this coin not containing a full ounce of Gold. It absolutely does.

Thank you.

the price of Gold for February delivery is about $4300, so the coin has a $200 premium

The Eagle usually has a high premium.
And yes, even the spot price at the moment is almost $4300.

The Pamp Suisse Lady is selling at Costco at a price which is almost $50 below the current spot price.

Now it is $85 less than the spot price.

No wonder for that low price - OOS, so they left the old price on the Costco webpage.
Sorry for the false alarm.

Alright folks, who wants to go back to the threads for Costco gold when it was $1900 and certain SD'ers were laughing at us buying it calling it a barbaric relic?

It's gone up 231% since then LOL

Eh, cut some of them some slack (the polite ones). It's a kind of niche item for this type of site/community.
I'm glad I bought what I bought, and I dearly wish I had bought more. Very glad, today at least, about the silver I also bought. That ish is bordering on Paul Pelosi level returns 😆
