2 year warranty by Allstate, otherwise Ego won't warranty it since eBay isn't an authorized retailer. Considering these are $130 new on sale, it doesn't seem worth the hassle.

I own one of these and snagged it as a clearance item some years ago. For this price just add a little more and get an ecoflow or jackery...a standalone battery generator.

I'd say it depends on how many Ego batteries you have lying around. Definitely don't buy a battery to go with this, that would be far more expensive! And if you only have one or two small Ego batteries, yeah you can probably get equivalent capacity for a lower cost in a standalone battery, plus it'll be a more compact package.

I've got something like 700 Wh of Ego batteries, that much capacity in an Ecoflow battery is north of $300.

At this price, this invertor is a decent way to get some more use out of an existing collection of Ego batteries.
