Check your Amex offers, I had a spend $70 get $15 back offer for Microsoft.com. Based on what I am seeing, the terms don't have anything against purchasing a gift card with the offer.

Eligibility and Enrollment
Enrollment is limited. Eligible Card Members must first add offer to Card and then use same Card for qualifying spend. Only US-issued American Express® Cards are eligible.
Limit of 1 statement credit per eligible Card Member account. If the Card Account is canceled or past due, it may not qualify to receive the statement credit(s).
Qualifying Purchases
Offer valid online only at US website microsoft.com/en-us and through the Microsoft Store app. Excludes B2B services, AppSource, Azure, and Azure Marketplace. Not valid on purchases shipped outside of the US. See merchant website for shipping policy. Some merchants may not ship to all areas. Eligible subscriptions or memberships will automatically renew unless you cancel, and the merchant will charge the applicable fee to the Card they have on file. If you receive a free trial, charges may not post to your account until the trial has lapsed. Charges must post to your account by 12/31/2025 in order to qualify. Offer valid only on purchases made in US dollars.
Offer only valid on purchases made directly with the merchant. Offer not valid on purchases made using third parties, such as resellers, delivery services, or other intermediaries.
Statement Credit

What part of that is clear? I put the confusing part in bold text.
If YOU have time to sit there and read every word and symbol in titles in your day, congratulations, many more of us don't have a luxury of time and we just skim through and if something catches our attention then we click on it to learn more. Reading through the first few words it is NOT clear at all. I would wager that there is a large percentage of people skimming through that will see "Get $70 xbox/microsoft gift card..." and that will be enough to get them to click and waste their time.
You can make your comment that something isn't clear. But this response comes off as incredibly entitled and condescending. If you don't have the luxury of time, then you shouldn't be spending time on a deal website.
