FYI this is an 18" deep box. that is OK but a few more bucks will get you a deeper one that will be a LOT nicer

i haven't put my hands on this box; so forgive me if the sheet metal is far thicker or thinner than the example below:

this was at home depot online for 499 last week, still marked as 499 in my HD
https://www.homedepot.com/p/Husky.../334615276

18,200 cubic inches vs 24,667 cubic inches for fairly small monetary difference

I bought this a few months ago for $449. Regular homeowner with decent amount of tools. I think it's fantastic. Drawers slide great, plenty of space for me. Unsure of metal quality but I'm not a mechanic by trade so I don't care. It works fantastic for me and very happy with my purchase. Highly recommend it!

No mention of ball bearing drawer slides. Unless you need it right now and are using it infrequently. Otherwise it's not going to be worth it.

If you've seen one of the HART tool chests; these appear to be from the exact same Techtronic Industries factory.

All the slides (self closing), handles, really everything but the wheels appear to be identical.

I got in on the price mistake about a year ago for $199!!! This is a heavy duty box! $450 is still a good price!

I was also able to snag one during the $199 sale. I just took it out of the box about a month ago, and it's an amazing box for the deal I got.

My husky is very similar to this with deeper drawers and I paid twice as much "on sale"

I saw this when I went to pick up my DeWalt backpack from another slickdeal and thought that it looked like a really good deal at $499.

"Soft-close, full-extension drawers for smooth opening and closing"
Only ball-bearing slides are able to do this.

I stopped by TSC and looked at one. It does not have ball-bearing slides.
