Use them all day long with no problems. If it's leaving red marks loosen it up. Make sure you are clean Shaven for it to work correctly

FYI for first time buyers, you need filter cartridges for this. Make sure you get a pair rated for your specific use. For example, paint spray is different than gases.

All respirators require clean shaven for full filtration. 🙄

I also have a beard, although I keep it short, about a 4 clip. I wear these respirators all day, for 8 hours, grinding mortar non-stop. They work just fine, he'll just suck in an additional one or two percent of dust. I promise you'll survive, lol, I made it over 30 years doing it 😂

If I knew where I could buy the p100 filters for like 2 bucks a pop this would be a great deal lol 😆.. I'm sure this is a decent product otherwise. I work with a lot of fiberglass.

3M makes two different filters that are rated for fiberglass, the p100 and the p95. If you buy the cartridge type of filter, you simply change out the filtering element inside, and you can get them for about 2.35.

Why wouldn't you get this better-rated 3M respirator for the same price? https://www.amazon.com/3M-Respira...F0aWM&th=1 In fact, the large size is only $12 (out of stock, but can still order)

I'm assuming you mean if I choose to buy the big blocky things that connects to this mask than it's possible to buy something you can just connect inside it that's a lot cheaper than just standard circular pads ?

Where can I get them for this price your suggesting and do they last around the same time as the circular pads as well ?

The filter cage you're looking for is a 3M 6001. The replacement filters at your local Home Depot should be 5P71P6-DC. Of course, you'll pay about $2.50 at the Home Depot, but you can find them on Amazon for about 2.30 a set. I don't know the Amazon listing part number, but a simple search will get you there quick.
