Bought this mouse three years ago. Started to get my mouse pointer intermittently stuck. Mouse is basically unusable and customer support was not helpful. Would not recommend this model or company

Mee too. After just 1 and a half year it started getting wonky and i had to plug in all the time. Razer is no longer a good brand for mouse.

How does it compare to the g502? I just bought a g502 because my Basilisk Hyperspeed keeps randomly dying on me and while I'm liking it so far I find that the scroll wheel is just horrendous. The ratchet setting is super clunky and hitting the scroll wheel button takes a lot of force while the lighter setting is way too sensitive to actually be used at all.

Yep that's just the life cycle of razer mice. They are only designed to last 1 to 3 years. Every single razer and Logitech mouse I have had were the same.

You're saying even Logitech mouse lasts only 3 years? My mx master 3s has lasted me 4 years so far and is still going strong. I'm thinking of getting this one for home use while moving my mx master to office use since my office mouse (cheap mouse from the office) is getting annoying to use. But others' comments makes me thing twice and just consider getting another mx master

Razer breaks often and customer service is trash.

I've had such good luck I guess. I hated Razer for a long time then bought this. It's been wonderful, my favorite mouse so far. G502 is the garbo mouse with double click issues and breaks constantly, the V3 Pro is better. I've been through 3 G502's in denial that it's a good mouse but honestly, its just what people online keep parroting, its just awful. Hopefully commenters here are actually thinking of the correct model. This is the V3 Pro, not the V3.

Had this, mouse wheel broke just over 1 year mark. Common issue due to crap part that they use. They offered no support. I went back to Logitech who did have the double click issue but they changed the buttons on the 502 if you get the X lightspeed version. Definitely get that one. The non X lightspeed will get the double click and die. So far 2+ years and no issues on the newer one.

I picked the older version up in November 2020, and I've loved it for most of that time.

Currently, 5 years of use the battery life is so bad I keep it plugged in and the coating has started to fall off.

~90 bucks for 5 years doesn't seem all that bad. If this came with the dock it'd be a no-brainer for me.

Thanks for the feedback. I've been wanting another G502 but curious if this was worth it. Sounds like a hard pass.

I've had multiple Razer mice, they eventually have problems but with a 2 year warranty I've had them all replaced for free. Not sure what people are doing to have a bad customer service experience but for me it was sending them the receipt, and usually a video of the issue. Send the old back, and they send me a brand new one. It's actually been because of this level of support I keep buying them.
