These are not the ones being recalled. The ones being recalled were a specific batch from years ago. Stop spreading misinformation. It's refreshing to see that they're issuing a recall, most companies would have disappeared by now, this shows that they're here for their customers.

Of course I just bought the other model very similar to this one (the USB cable is a detachable lanyard instead of built into the housing) for $18ish.

I did too. But maybe it's for the best. I've had multiple power banks become unusable because the integrated cable failed.

that was always my fear but never transpired
ive only ever had anker kinds with attached cable so im sure it varies
iniu has been solid for me in other models
they had a recall recently on this brand but not this model, similar, google is your buddy
