If you're into 3rd person shooters. This is a must. The fun gameplay along with the terrific storyline, excellent banter, and the overall camaraderie of the characters, grows and grows with each installment of Gears of War. I actually preferred it over Halo.

I own Gears of War on Xbox, but much prefer playing on PlayStation. I think this is the right price to double dip and get it on PlayStation.

This was a great single player campaign. Replaying until you can beat the top difficulty is an easy 30-40 hours. But one playthrough is what, 10 hours?
Sucks it's only one game though. All three were released already in another medium.

FYI, You need to sign in with a Microsoft account for crossplay. This is a deal breaker for me. I want zero connection to M$

Bought this game because of nostalgia. It was a must play game on the 360. For me, I think if you never played it or have been waiting for a price drop this is the right price. Otherwise I regret paying more for just the first game in the series. The enemy AI is fairly basic compared to modern titles and NPC squad mates are just dumb. The revised graphics are nice, but doesn't add enough.

I was so excited for the multiplayer on this, but the outdated matchmaking is rough. It took FOREVER to find a game, people kept leaving while it was trying to fill up the lobby. When I'd finally get into a game, people would still be leaving while the players that have been playing this since Xbox360 just spawn kill you. It was so bad I got it refunded.
