Home Depot [homedepot.com] has their 1 gallon wet/dry vac for $50 just in time for the atmospheric river "pineapple express" going through California.
If one gallon isn't enough, you can put this on top of those orange 5 gallon Home Depot buckets.

Dirt spills in car. Had an ant swarm,sucked them all up. Good for window sills,corners, spider webs, great for catching a palmetto bug without splatting it just dump the little hobo outside. It stays inside where it's always ready to go. "
