I can't speak for this particular used sale, but 8bitdo is by far the best value controller manufacturer out there. Great if you game on PC and console as it can swap between them pretty easily. Very high quality stuff. I stopped using my Xbox Elite 2 and use my 8bitdos at 1/3 the price.

It's worth noting that the item being advertised here (for Windows and Android) won't work for Xbox

I would consider myself a heavy user of controllers. I use one everyday and will beat it up pretty hard from intense gaming sessions. Had a Gamesir Cyclone 2, rings underneath both joysticks broke to reveal they were held by tiny plastic levers, which made the joysticks stick in place and the circle motion no longer smooth, instead jagged. Then, the software would randomly forget my customized buttons forcing me to reload them in the PC application each time. The final straw was the RT trigger button completely breaking off from the mechanism holding it. This thing feels like it was made of cheap plastics.

The 8bitdo on the other hand, works flawlessly and has taken the same abuse everyday for the last few months with no issues to report.

I recently returned one of these because I was having issues with the right trigger not working when pressed. I went in another direction and got the GameSir G8+ to use with my iPad and it's been great.

Can someone please tell me if these can be used with a Steam Deck? Also, can an Xbox controller be paired with a Steam Deck? If yes, is there a point in buying one of these? Thanks so much for educating a newbie! ♥️

They are honestly really good but yeah, this one is exclusively a PC controller, so switch and xbox support would require you using an adapter for it.

The big problem I have with these is the DPad is just alright, way better than what nintendo has been pushing out recently at least, and you can't easily map those rear buttons, you gotta use their dumb external app just to do so.

Personally I find gamesir cyclone 2 slightly more comfortable. The handles are a bit narrow and buttons a bit firm on this. My hands, espiecially right thumb get tired after around 20 minutes using this.

This particular variant might not support steam. But they do have an ultimate 2 that is compatible.

The joysticks on this is less likely to drift than xbox. It has more programmable buttons. That's about it.

I don't usually play games with a controller, but I'm tempted to try racing games. What would you all recommend? Should I go with this one, the Xbox Carbon Black controller (on sale at Walmart for $39 new), or the 8BitDo 2C (available on Amazon for $22 new) ?

I like 8BitDo for build quality but they really need to fix their stupid D-pad's false diagonal problem. They won't fix it because they're trying to evoke nostalgia for the original Nintendo D-pad, but those were made with better rubber membranes. The 8BitDo rubber membrane collapses a bit too easily and thereby generates unintended direction presses. The fix is to open up the controller and cover up parts of the conductive graphite contacts to make the unintended direction presses less likely.
Anyway, I just ordered a Gulikit ES PRO to try out. They supposedly copied the Microsoft XBox One X|S's clicky D-pad but have TMR thumbsticks unlike the genuine Microsoft controller's potentiometer-based thumbsticks. Will see how the Gulikit does over time...

These are really great controllers for the price but I had to go through 2 broken new controllers (new from amazon) to get one that finally had all working buttons and joysticks. Seems like 8Bitdo QC may be having issues.

I prefer Gamesir to 8BitDo. I've tried a couple 8BitDo controllers and the thumbsticks just never feel right as far as precision goes. Other than that they're good though. Not an issue if you aren't playing shooters.
