can I get away with just using this and ONR and not spending half my life reading the intricacies of how to detail properly?

It's good but there are a lot of spectrums to the broad category of, "wheel and tire cleaners". I'm only mentioning this for folks who may not know that there are acidic wheel and tire cleaners that do a far superior job to this BUT you are dealing with an acidic cleaner and have to be far more careful with how you use it and what you use it on. I like this wheel and tire cleaner as a safer, regular upkeep cleaner but keep the Meguiar's Hot Rims Wheel & Tire Cleaner spray on hand when I need to break down something more tough with practically instantaneous results.

Likely, unless your car is insanely dirty like muddy or salty and you dont mind a minor bit of scratching

Do you need a foam cannon for this?

Good product, but the 46% off is misleading. I've never paid more than $31.xx after tax for this on s&s.

Had this and it's okay. Scrubbing is required. Gonto Oreilly and pick up Dark Fury, it's the best in the business

No, a regular spray bottle will suffice. Simply dilute it to your desired concentration with water, and you're ready to go.

I wanted to chime in and say the same... there may be better products out there, but this one is easy to use. It DOES get majority out, but on my tiny spoked wheels (with TONS of spokes and sharp lines), it doesn't seem to clean as well.

I find it gets MOST of the grime off with a brush, but the residue is still there (like wrongly placed dishes in a dishwasher).
It works great on silver finishes like my wife's RX, or the chrome finish on my GS... but on my F (which has a matte paint/finish on the wheels), it left so much residue, i was genuinely dissapointed and went the dawn dish soap route (which did a better job, and ceramic coated the wheels with a sponge and applicator.

FWIW, Amazon doesn't let you return this product. (Which is an even bigger dissapointment - as i ended up with a almost a gallon of product still, that doesn't really fit my quick wash needs)
