It's a good price on a pretty bad card. Sits between a 3060 and 3060ti performance wise. Fine for 1080p in most games.
Would be better if it was a smaller version of the card. Something that easily fit into a tiny case.

so what is a good card to get for $175? Or under $200?

It takes a lot of games from almost unplayable at 1080p to very playable. If $175 is all you can swing I would say probably. If you can swing low 200s the B580 at $230 is worth a look. https://www.newegg.com/onix-odyss...6814987001 . B580 also comes with BF6. Could either use the code or probably sell it for 20-30. If you value the code at $30, $200 for a B580 vs $175 for RTX 5050 isn't much of a comparison since the B580 is quite a bit faster and more vram.

at that price, without question. ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4...yzs&t=138s ) Especially if you plan to sell your 3050. I always avoid Intel Arc bc of the inconsistent driver issues.
