I learned you also need protection for the camera because the lips on these cases are not deep enough for full camera protection. I think the only way around this is a fully encased case. I have the 17 pro max and have spent a small fortune protecting the phone.

I have the otterbox defender series for my 17 pro max it's a great case but basically useless for wireless charging. I never had that issue with my ultra 23 and defender case.
I purchased the Zagg Rainer but initially, I purchased the Apple case @ Amazon ($25 BF deal). That case is junk imo and designed to cause damage. Returned it. The Rainer case has a better lip for camera protection but still not enough. Also purchased the Zagg camera protector and Belkin screen protector at the Apple Store. I wanted the Otterbox Fre for full encasement but it wasn't in stock or had to wait for shipment.

Which case do you recommend?
