If it is more than 10 days old, this is staying!
And being posted in a thread does not exempt it from becoming a deal. Their loss for not making it a deal.
Fighting on behalf of the contributors. Got your back (Original Poster) OP!

How else are people supposed to know this deal is LIVE again? It's been over 3 weeks since the last time 50 points happened.

The Mods put a new Panda Express thread on the Front Page for each of the 100+ times the Dodgers won this year. And that was just a regional Los Angeles area promo, not Nationwide.

this combined with my $10 quarterly chase benefit worked great! got $22 of groceries for $7 delivered. nice!
When I ordered groceries thru doordash they would charge me a minimum of $5+ service fee. Were you able to avoid it? This fee + tip for delivery kinda ate away any savings I would get from this promotion. Convenience store didn't have the fee but prices are higher so also ended up not being a deal.

My fee with DoorDash pass is $1.99, usually.

They always charge that $4.99 service fee regardless of order size AFAIK. I consider that part of the driver's compensation so I don't tip on top of that. I advocate not tipping so these gig companies have to raise their wages to pay a fair wage to their employees. Paying employees is the employer's job, not mine.

In my case, I don't choose the earliest available time. I pick the "No Rush, No fee", that option usually tells me "Save $x.xx" depends on the time of day. Some times $1.75, sometimes $4.50. It usually between 7:25pm-9:25pm. But sometimes, the system will let a Dasher to fill your order before that late evening window. I sometimes get the order around 3-5pm but most times, it will be after 7pm.

I have Dash Pass from Chase Sapphire card. Usually, no fee for me. Also, I have a Dollar General within 1.5 miles so I got more options than pharmacy (Walgreens or CVS) or convenience stores.

What I don't like about DoorDash is that even if you're paying $10 a month for their "DashPass" service, often times they don't deliver your order right after picking it up. They pick up two extra orders and that slows your delivery by like 15 minutes. Then your food may arrive cold and if you tell their customer service, they just shrug their shoulders.

It's like now the $10 subscription isn't enough -- you have to pay an extra $1-2 per order for "priority" delivery.
