If I do not have Tortuga travel backpack 40L already, I would jump on this. I like both but I paid like 180 dollars for mine.

I have had this around 9 years, so far it has been next to bulletproof. It has taken tons of abuse and looks almost brand new. Couldn't imagine reaching for anything else around this size point.

I have the 40L version, and while the quality is top notch, and it's fairly comfortable... it's not overly line friendly. If you place it on the ground and don't have a wall nearby or lean it against your leg it's going to turtle (roll on to the top) While this is a minor quibble, it makes me more far more likely to use one of my other bags if I'm going to be in a lot of ticket/customs/train platforms etc. Plus the interior shape makes it more difficult to pack efficiently if you pack geometrically (i.e. cubes or vac bags)
