Because of this deal I started trying ATT in my area and I see that it has better reception than Verizon in the areas I roam. So it might be a good deal for me. Let's see in few days.

Also if you get this plan dont forget to turn off auto renewal or you will be charged 400 bucks

This is a good price for great service, even if not quite as slick as some of their recent deals.
My one quibble with US Mobile is that they don't seem to offer anything to existing customers. I chatted with them and they were willing to let me walk rather than letting me take advantage of the last deal or offering me anything at all to stay. So switching back and forth between them and Mint or Visible or whatever seems like the best longer term option. USM is my favorite, hands down, but if something else that works well for me is considerably cheaper, I have no loyalty for corporations who show no gratitude toward me.

I've definitely had better reception with both the Verizon and T-Mobile networks than AT&T across many states and cities.

There's a difference in offering a low, below cost price to attract a new customer vs offering that price to an existing customer. I assume you understand why this works the way it does. Yes, if it was continuously cheap and better that would be awesome.
I understand perfectly. But I also understand that it's usually better to offer some sort of concession for existing users to stay rather than losing them. Spectrum and AT&T (for home internet) always at least try to talk you out of leaving for that reason. USM will be without my business for a year, then they'll be taking a hit with a discounted rate to reacquire me, rather than just giving me something small now to keep me.

Trying to connect to three different networks probably kills battery life, so it is important. Physics does not lose to hope.
it actually saves battery with instant network switch as to contact to the closest clean connection

if you really concern contact to 4G battery saver for less speed. 5G takes 3x more energy

Does multi network work add on feature work with this plan? It's only 45 dollars for the year. Seems like a great deal to go with this.

My MINT annual expires in a couple of weeks. I have a USMint plan purchased and ready to activate.
It sucks reading that US Mobile cares about existing customers as much as Mint does - in that neither one gives a shit.

It might be best next time just going with Visible for their long term, monthly. Verizon has slower data here than Tmobile, but at least it's more flexible.

But you also have to scan for coverage on multiple networks. That does affect battery life.

Call them to tell them your cancelling in 30 days after your term since a new offer $180/yr, $150/yr.

They have to try to much it. at first they will low ball with $30 off, insist on equal or better offer as their competition.

if ask them without pretending to cancel, they wont offer you the best deal.

you shouldn't feel trapped. losing a stable customer cost them $500-1000 per new user.

they try to get over around with 1 yr contact, you can always get your remaining refund by emailing FCC for fair practice. its your right to challenge them

if they play promo games, so can you
I actually chatted on the app with CS yesterday to request my pin/transfer because I was going to switch to Visible+ for their promo right now. I'm on the annual starter unlimited ($270/year) and the CS guy asked why I wanted to get my pin/transfer so I told him about Visible. He goes, "what if i could offer $249 instead of $270?" I said, $20? lol, f nah brah. He goes, "what if I could do $219?" I said, hmmm okay. So on my account, it was refreshed within a minute that when autopay comes up in 2 weeks, its only $219.

Not bad.

You can just turn off the esims for the secondary networks you don't want, problem solved. Only turn them on when you have bad primary coverage. BTW your voice line always uses the primary carrier. the multi-network option is only for data.

I ported from Spectrum (Verizon qci8) a couple of days ago. US Mobile recommends the Dark Star network for my area, but this must be out of date. My speeds dropped from 300 Mbps to 30. It's not terrible, but I do notice periodic lagginess when using my phone's data. Unfortunately, I'm stuck for a year with this. It's a gamble in my area because every network is spotty in coverage. I have to remember I'm paying a lot less than I was on Spectrum (I am no longer a cable internet customer there so it's a higher price).
It appears I can still add the multi-network, and that's on sale for $45. It's limited to 100 GB per month on the second network, but I may try this to get by, it's still a good price. Hopefully, Visible will have a good sale next year.
Edit: it's shared 100GB between both lines and then slowed on the second network, unlimited on the primary. It sounds like if you're using only the primary line and not the second line, you'll eat through the 100GB initially.

I think so. They show me the option on my account, I think I'm going to do it because I'm not too happy with Dark Star speeds so far.

Have you gotten them to give you any better pricing when renewing?
I have always been monthly until I got the plan below
US Mobile's Unlimited Flex Plan is an affordable annual-only option (around $17.50/mo or $210/yr) offering unlimited talk/text with 10GB of high-speed data, followed by unlimited 1Mbps data, plus 5GB hotspot, all with taxes/fees included on T-Mobile/AT&T/Verizon networks, featuring deprioritized speeds, SD video (720p), and included international calling/texting from the US.

Thanks for posting OP. I just jumped on this as a way to get away from Visible. Signed up with them after Christmas and its been an absolute NIGHTMARE ever since. The absolute worst company I've ever dealt with.

What's Visible's current promo you speak of?
