These are great fans for the price but do be aware that they can put out a noticeable hum at a certain RPM range. For the case that I was using it started at about 1050 RPM and then went away at higher speeds. When the fans ramp up and down and hit that particular RPM range it got pretty annoying. Setting a custom curve in Fan Control with a limit right before the hum will bypass the issue albeit at the expense of cooling.
My friend thought it was a one pack for some reason and ordered 6 for his new all black no rgb build. I guess he's got 30 fans no and now motivation to return them
I bought these as they were the cheapest at the time and since it was for a SFF build, I figured why not get skinnies. No issues with the pc on the desk by the monitors.
5 pack of pros were $27 a couple weeks ago. Looks like they shot up by about $10. Unfortunately I've had 2 start making some weird noise a week or two apart with only about a months use. Guessing its a bearing noise. I'll probably send them back just waiting to see if anymore act up since I do have till the Jan 31st.

Was that $27 shipped? It's been $27 with $10 shipping. They just now rolled the shipping into the price. Before release, they were $27 with free shipping some months ago.
Firstly the is the price it's (almost) always at, and secondly, it's incredibly amateur to fail to mention/discuss PWM in this context...
Yeah the lack of PWM is glaring. I made the mistake of purchasing these when they were on sale over the holidays for my server rebuild. Having a server that doesn't spin down the fans in your office can get very cumbersome...

$27 shipped is what I got them for last month. I have seen the $10 shipping though. Yeah $36 maybe the new normal
