Not bad - I might go grab some of these. Seems like they should be pretty widely available, and my store has 18 in stock. I've got 6", 12", and 36" - and it's not exactly pleasant trying to use the 36" clamps when you're only clamping something 12-18" wide.

Edit: Then again.. Harbor Freight has their similar 24" bar clamps @ $7.. just FWIW.

Setting up a shop again in a new city and ordered 12 of the 24" for free delivery.

Sadly for me, the 36" only available for pickup or $80 scheduled delivery. Lowe's is not convenient enough to my location, and the savings not profound enough, to justify the trip. The 36" I'll buy eventually, but the 24"s are workhorses.

Have a bunch of the hf ones. Love them for the price but the bar on those does bend if you push it to its limits

Have these clamps and they are awesome. Previously i only owned those little squeezey plastic clamps. This thing is a beast and helped me straighten some large beams on a swingset

Same goes for any bar clamp like this, really.. it's hard to say if these Jorgensen (or similarly, Bessey - which is mostly what I have) clamps are significantly better to warrant spending 2x+ each even on clearance.

Wonder why the 24" retails for $29.48 and the 36" for $27.98, a buck and a half less? Isn't American business great.

This is the 600lb vs the 1000lb clamp force model.

Did they always have 2 models or did they come out with a cheaper version in the last few years?

I just checked all of mine and they are the "HD" and these on sale are just the same model without the HD.

They've had both. 100% hold. Out for the 1k models. Worth it by a long shot.

Yeah, they are some great clamps. I use the 6" clamps a ton. I might have 15 of them and I've run short a few projects lol.
