if it's more polyester than wool, then it's a polyester blend sock....

What percentage of wool does an item need to be called wool?

A bit upsetting that the product listing doesn't state this.

To be honest I'd rather have a blend for cheap socks, cheap fully wool socks have a tendency to really suck as they are cheap for a reason (expensive wool socks are all I use, smartwool darn tough, etc)

My best/favorite pair of wool socks for work, comfort, and cold weather are always around 80 merino wool. Not sure what other 20%. I never buy 100% ones. Too thick and terrible hold against legs.

I found 50% to be pretty awesome, you need some blend for stability and shape etc.. I find this percentage to be too low

I don't mind a blend with my wool, but once you put cotton in, you've ruined it for me. I've been happy with Darn Tough for my good ones and the seasonal Sam's Club and Costco >50% blends for cheap.

I only buy specialized socks made of 5% chinchilla fur, 15% virgin cotton, 10% cashmere and 65% alpaca wool with a dash of polyester to keep it tight.
