Breathable pads on straps but not back pad. No structure at all and no waste belt. It's cheap, and you're getting what you pay for. Not going to be comfortable even as a day pack if you're really hiking or carrying a real pack load.

Great size and price for a day pack or overnight in the right season if you're staying in a hut.

Looks like a much better day pack compared to my usual go-to Eddie Bauer stowaway. Nevertheless N41 despite the fact that I already have too many of the EB stowaways purchased way back in the good old days when the $10 coupon yielded a net price of $5. Definitely the SD effect.

Thanks, i needed a cheap mid-sized backpack for short hiking trips with the kids and an upcoming trip to Disney World (thanks to their grandpa)

Why advertise as 20 L? My guess based on previously buying and returning a similar backpack, the actual measurements are not as listed.

Worth a shot to try. We've got a Yellowstone trip coming up and luggage space is a premium. If it's not worth it, it'll get returned.
