I keep one of these in my work knapsack, along with a 30W USB-C charger. I travel often (50+ nights a year), and have been using one of these for over a year without fail.
Note, when charging a watch, its critical to make sure it's laying flat or of you use the V-shape configuration, that you don't accidentally knock the watch off. This isn't a fault of the charger per se, rather it's that Apple designed the small magnets of the Watch to have a lightweight cable attached to the watch (rather than the watch docked), so it's the weak magnet attachment on the watch that is more of the issue. The "grip" to an iPhone is much stronger, so these combo chargers (in my experience) all have this issue.

I have it and sounds about right in practice. I don't think there are many 3rd party fast iWatch chargers and it wasn't till Series 11 that it supported fast charging. The Ultras do but it's more niche so 3rd parties only cared about the regular iWatch.

so we are saying watch prior to 11, can't take advantage of >3w charger anyway, rigtht?
Charges pretty slow when watch and phone are charging, but a great "set it and forget" charger as I keep one at my desk at work and the other in my backpack for travel
I can never have enough of things Ike this around. I have chargers pretty much within arms reach in our entire house. It's so damn handy with the amount we use our devices these days. Charge while sleep. While ya cook. While you're watching a movie. While you're taking a shower etc. I also give them to people here and there who I could use them. The amount of people always with a dead phone because they don't want to make a small investment. in for one thanks!

"it wasn't till Series 11 that it supported fast charging"
This is incorrect. Fast charging has been available since Series 7.

S7's "fast" meant something different. https://www.macrumors.com/2021/10...e-adapter/ "A comparable third-party USB-C power adapter that supports USB Power Delivery (USB-PD) of 5W or greater"
Power at the magnetic end still only used 5W.
