I keep one of these in my work knapsack, along with a 30W USB-C charger. I travel often (50+ nights a year), and have been using one of these for over a year without fail.
Note, when charging a watch, its critical to make sure it's laying flat or of you use the V-shape configuration, that you don't accidentally knock the watch off. This isn't a fault of the charger per se, rather it's that Apple designed the small magnets of the Watch to have a lightweight cable attached to the watch (rather than the watch docked), so it's the weak magnet attachment on the watch that is more of the issue. The "grip" to an iPhone is much stronger, so these combo chargers (in my experience) all have this issue.
