Always use unscented undyed detergent. Also, if you look at the amount of detergent in ounces and divide by the number of loads, the MFG claims it's usually about an ounce per load. That's it. You don't need to add any more detergent to your washer to get cleaner clothes. Stay away from fabric softener and beads. They are terrible for your washing machine and not good for your clothes. Also use your clean washer cycle regularly. Clean your drain pump filter. If your front load machine has one. To leave the lid open, leave the door open. Clean a dispenser. Make sure your drain hose is properly attached. Only 6 in into the drain pipe. Empty your pockets. Zip you zippers tire hoodie strings together. That makes a difference.

My samsung washer keeps getting error and not draining the water. I am wondering if the filter is clogged.

If you encounter an UR error code on your washing machine, replace the washer suspension rods. They're inexpensive to replace, and there's a YouTube video with instructions.

What's your reasoning for saying to only use unscented undyed detergent?
