I love these long handled ratchets with the tiny heads for reaching small fasteners buried deep under the dash or in the engine bay.
However, you have to be smart about using it. With the head being so small, it can't sustain a lot of torque and with the handle so long, you can easily overdo it. If the fastener is large, corroded, or overtorqued, try to find a different way to remove it because this tool can be easily broken.

Yes, I agree that a long handle 1/4" ratchet doesn't make sense, sort of like how a stubby 3/4" ratchet would be a similarly bad idea.
A 1/4" ratchet with long handle makes it too easy to break the tool, and a stubby 3/4" ratchet wouldn't be able to get enough torque.
