Technically not a sale but hard to find and highly sought after player.

This is the player people that want to rely on their display for upscaling & HDR tone mapping and want DV.
It's the preferred player alternative to their 820.

Their 420 gives up DV but offers their HCX chipset & Optimizer which the 820 offers also.

Because of new technology like HDR and Dolby Vision/Atmos that wasn't available on original players.

Obviously, if all you want to to do is play bluerays then any cheap player will do.

Just because a stream says 4k doesn't mean it is the best available. Blu-rays offer 2-3x bitrate and lossless audio.

Every year streaming gets better, but it isn't equal yet.
