Does anyone have these? Is it complicated to keep the intricate silicone clean?

These are out of stock now, but the silicone sleeves are removable on these for cleaning. Reviews seem to indicate it comes off and goes back on fairly easily. So if it's like my glass water bottle I have with a similar sleeve, you can just take it off before popping the glass in the dishwasher and a give it a quick hand wash.

I've been using Genicook Glass Food Storage Containers With Glass Lids [amazon.com] for about two months now and I like them. The lids are not entirely glass though. There is a plastic border surrounding the glass to clasp the glass to the containers. If you want complete silicone and glass, try Costco's Pyrex 10-piece Ultimate Glass Food Storage Set [costco.com]. They sometimes go on sale for an extra 10 off.

It's impractical to produce a totally glass lid because of the locking hinge. Glass is nowhere near as easy to mold and weld so it's difficult to attach a hinge. You'd need at least some plastic to hold it.

At least they use Tritan plastic. It's the most glass-like plastic made because it doesn't absorb odors or colors. I've also heard that it doesn't crack when dropped. Not sure how bad it is in terms of microplastics.

Agreed. Some plastic is necessary, but constantly scrubbing those plastic lids makes me cringe. Looks like Costco is selling some glass lid and containers per Lurker247

I've had these for years. The silicone gasket in the lid is just a tube pushed into a channel - easily removable.
The silicone cover on the body - same thing. You can yank it right off if you want to and then stretch it back on. It seems to get a lot less fingerprinty and dirty on the outside because you're not directly touching the glass. The outside still cleans nicely without removing it.
I'm pretty meticulous about cleaning my stuff and rinse everything in RO for that extra sparkle. Thumbs up on my end.

What material is "Duraglass"? I understand it's just a branding, google says it's either Borosilicate or tempered glass.

As others have responded, these are really easy to keep clean, separate pieces and put them in the dishwasher. The silicone cover comes on and goes back on very easy, but just tight enough that it never falls off. I usually don't even bother taking off the sleeve and just wash it on (as pictured). no problems.
My only complaint is these are rather small, enough for a small lunch portion. I have had these for more than 2 years and still use them all the time. Been very happy, and would love some deeper ones.

Bought a set of these at Costco a bit ago and love them for leftover storage or for meal prep. Outer silicone is removable and the gasket in the lid is removable for easy cleaning as well. May have to pull trigger on this deal....

Be forewarned that this "duraglass" is not like pyrex where you can't take it from fridge to microwave (per the manufacturer). I know because mine cracked all the way around with a mild reheat in the microwave
