Depends on the folding knife. Regular non "assisted" folding knives under 4" are legal. Gravity or Switchblades are illegal. I assume smaller knives have stricter laws than larger knives like this because the small knife can be concealed much easier. NYC has even stricter knife laws.

Just information, I do not agree with the knife laws here. Also not a lawyer so maybe info is not 100% accurate.

understood. retired 6 months ago and other than the month or two of f ing off, i am tirelessly working on my home to sell and leave NY as soon as I can as sooo many people i know already have.
