Just bought this a month ago for $420. Does ebay/Acer price match? Or do I need to buy this and return the other one?

I bought one of these last time they popped up on here. Had a dead battery that wouldn't charge and wasn't super quiet but it seemed like a very well built little laptop other than that. Acer was easy to deal with on the return. If you need a 14" laptop this is probably hard to beat at ~$400 assuming you get a good one.

You'll probabky have to return it. You can contact the seller and there are partial refund options built into eBay (I've sold on eBay for over 10 years) but I've never seen a larger store based seller use that method, just returns.

I'd definitely give it a try however. Acer support may be receptive if you provide your old order number, and demonstrate the new price.

As to this deal, it's a good price for well rounded specs. Not a killer deal like that briefly available Omnibook X 14" Ryzen AI 7 350 / 24GB RAM / 1TB SSD at Best Buy for $340, but deals like that are rare and must be jumped on quickly.

Love to see Thunderbolt... Should be the norm nowadays.

Especially with eGPUs being so prevalent nowadays.

Interestingly the price has gone from $420 to $400 to $371 over the last 24 hours.

Looks great, but pay attention to the missing Right ctrl key. It's default functionality is now Copilot AI, which is total crap if you're a touch typist, and/or left handed.

MS paid Dell, Acer, etc to destroy the keyboard and promote CoPilot, so check and see if you can remap the key back to Ctrl with MS PowerToys. I was able to do it on a new Dell, but apparently not every company/computer works the same way and many have had trouble.
